Wallowa Mountains - June 5-8, 2026

Join this photography workshop in one of Oregon’s most dramatic and visually diverse regions—Wallowa County. Nestled in the far northeast corner of the state, this remote and breathtaking area is often called the "Alps of Oregon" for good reason. Towering granite peaks of the Wallowa Mountains rise above sweeping valleys, glacial lakes, and storybook farmlands, offering endless inspiration for landscape and nature photography.

During field sessions, you’ll explore a rich variety of environments, from the wide-open grasslands of the prairie to the alpine beauty of Wallowa Lake and the surrounding Eagle Cap Wilderness. Beyond the scenery, we’ll connect with the local sense of place—photographing historic barns, weathered fences, and the enduring rural character of this quiet corner of the Northwest and one of Oregon’s most untouched and rewarding photographic regions.
