 | Hiking is required yet will be mostly short distances (<1.5 miles) with elevation gain from low to moderate. You should be comfortable walking over varying terrain, carrying your own gear. |
 | Participants are responsible for transportation. Carpooling is encouraged when traveling to field locations to reduce the number of vehicles and increase opportunities for participant-to-participant interaction. Most are paved with one up hill gravel road. |
 | Participants are responsible for meals. We will have optional meal gatherings scheduled for the group throughout the workshop. This is a great way to interact with fellow participants. |
 | This workshop covers a mix of field sessions and classroom time including presentations, group image reviews, and processing. Participants are encouraged to bring work to share for image reviews. |
