I came across this large blob on the Washington coast. It was more than 12" in diameter. It went out even further from this photo yet this was the part I wanted to focus on. This is known as a lions mane jellyfish which can be really large. There was another one near by that was large and red yet I like this one more how the light and rocks under it created a variety of colors. Photo © copyright by Adrian Klein.
